Evangelist Harold Camping predicted that the rapture would occur yesterday, May 21 at 6p.m. It didn't. Camping is not the first to swing and miss. These types of predictions occur with stunning regularity and it is easy in our time to dismiss even the possibility of the rapture. Yet, whether by death or rapture—the Bible assures us that we will all ultimately stand before God for judgment. Perhaps the best response to this event is not laughter, but introspection.
