Look In
It's easy to lose track of God and what he's doing. How do you look in and remember his many blessings in your life? Sometimes all it takes is a rock.
Don't Ignore the Warning
The Great Flood was an actual event; people who ignored the warning perished, just as those who ignore the warning of coming judgment today will perish.
The Story: Sinful Humanity
God created man in His image but the Fall marred and broke that image and, in turn, we are sinful, born dead. We live out the Fall in our every day lives, sinning and being sinned against by others. Cain killed his own brother Abel because of his wicked heart and God eventually destroyed all but Noah and his family because of the wickedness of men. But there's a greater story here. Jesus's blood was shed for us, by us, and it cries, not for vindication like Abel's blood, but it cries freedom and pardon from sin as Jesus is our advocate before God. Jesus is the better Abel, the better Noah, the better Ark, the better covenant.
Bird is the Word
Through the storm and the Deluge, God has remembered Noah and those on the ark, and He is faithful to His covenant. In this study, we see how God has given us an example through allegory, of prayer. Prayers of the flesh vs. prayers in the Spirit.
The Crimson Line in the Life of Noah
An exposition of Hebrews 11:7 showing the staggering types of Jesus Christ in the story of Noah.
The Deluge
Our God is no pushover. The flood was a just act that reveals His holiness and power. This sermon covers a few apologetic applications as well as an illustration for the believer in Christ.
