Forever Changed
There are events surrounding the ascension of Jesus that urge us to realize God's love for us and to see things from His point of view. In fact, the ascension of Jesus forever changed things. While the above statements are reality, if someone is unaware of the changes, then the truths are of no value to the person. Unfortunately the lives of many people seeking to follow Jesus seem to reflect an unawareness of what was changed by the ascension of Jesus. Indeed, due to His ascension things will never be the same. Will the same be said of your life?

The Gifts and the Giver
Sermon on Ephesians 4:7-10 by Pastor Dan Hendley.
He Came For Sinners, Part 4
The key to holding fast and drawing near when we are tempted to give up and draw back is to possess a clear understanding of Jesus as our great high priest. In Hebrews 4:14-16, the author gives us a clear picture of Jesus and His high priesthood. Specifically, he gives us three reasons why Jesus is our great high priest who is able to help us hold fast to our confession and to draw near to Him with confidence. We will come to see how these three reasons offer hope and help for us in our present difficulties, which fight against our perseverance and kill our confidence in the Son of God.
Farewell....For Now
In today's passage, we'll see Jesus' encouragement to His disciples, and His ascension. We'll also see Luke present a different look at the Great Commission. Concluding the series through the Gospel of Luke, which is helpful for those looking for real evidence of Christianity and the Resurrection!
The Joy of Knowing
What a joy it is to learn something you didn't know! On the day of ascension, the disciples finally understood what all this was about. He had warned them that he would need to suffer and die. But they didn't understand. Finally, on that day, they completely understood! They returned to Jerusalem "full of joy!"
