Now we look at the metaphysics of the Bible. In this often neglected passage of Scripture, the apostle Paul sets forth six different levels in which the supremacy of Christ brings itself to bear. We see that He is the creating Lord, providential Lord, covenantal Lord, invading Lord, incarnate Lord, and restoring Lord. The upshot of all this is that we do not simply have the right to think whatever we want to about these six different realms of reality. Nor does anything “stick out,†since the Lordship of His worldview covers “all things.â€
