JOURNEY OF BEGINNINGS “The Drive to Make a Name for Ourselves” Genesis 9-11 Hall of shame 1. Noah gets drunk after making a covenant with God. (Gen. 9:20, 21) 2. The first ambition to have a one world religion and a unified world empire. (Gen. 11:1-4) The Lord comes down to take a look (Gen. 11:5-9) 1. The Lord is set against any move of His people to become self-sufficient and independant of Him. 2. That’s simple, said God, “Let’s confuse their language. WHAT IS THE LORD’S NUMBER ONE CONCERN FROM THE “JOURNEY OF BEGINNINGS”UP TO THIS VERY DAY? That we would get busy and forget the LORD our God! WELCOME TO COMMUNION: THIS DO IN REMEMBRANCE OF ME!

Which Story Are You In?
Today, we are going to look at parts of Genesis chapter 11 and 12. In these chapters we see two stories that are opposites, one of Babel and the other of Abraham. Yet it is these two competing stories that we see thread throughout the Bible and that we live in today.
