Act(s) I Scene I
In Scene I of Act I of the Book of Acts, we see Jesus instructing the disciples to go to Jerusalem and wait on the power of the Holy Spirit. The Promise of the Father would surely come and the result of that promise would enable and empower them to do the mission set forth by the King. Baptism
Jesus revealed during His earthly ministry that He would be returning to the Father in Heaven. He said, he was going to prepare a place for us. After His death, burial and resurrection Jesus called his disciples together to give them instructions on what they should do until his return. The second instruction for his followers is baptism. It is important what Jesus said about Baptism. The what, who, when, where and how of baptism is clearly explained in the scripture. We invite you to Understand Baptism for yourself!
