The Battle of the Christian Mind
Christians are called to use the weapons of the Word, the Blood, and the Name of Jesus. We are not called to fight with carnal weapons. Satan fears weapons of the Spirit, and is powerless against them. When we recognize that our battle with Satan is in our minds, then we are able to fight against it.

Fighting Through Your Suffering (I Peter 4 1-6) 7-19-09
When we suffer for Christ, and/or as Christians, we are called to fighting through that suffering in order to respond like Jesus as we pursue God's will.

Searching The Heart
Each one of us are at war and we have a secret enemy. What is that secret enemy? It is the sinfulness of our heart. The battle with our own heart is the hardest battle we will ever face.

The Battle for the World
This world is enemy occupied territory. We hear the enemy's message from everyone around us; teachers, politicians, media. Even Christians, who have been freed from satan's grip, are still under his influence. We are like soldiers who have been dropped behind enemy lines; we have three options: 1. go over to the other side, 2. hide our true identity and try hard not to be noticed, or 3. engage in the fight, confident in the weapons and armour of our Lord and King. How do we fight? With the Word of God. Paul's speech to the Atheneans is nearest to our situation. We need to speak in terms that our audience relates to, using language that they understand and illustrations that they recognise. Our aim is to save these people, to turn our enemies into our friends by changing their minds and therefore their values. Love these people with God's love (and will and strength), so that they in turn will fall in love with God through us.

The Victory Ride!
We've finally reached the summit! All the empires of the world will amass their energies against the Lamb of God, but they will not stand! With the power of His spoken Word, Jesus Christ will declare the final victory and all that we've looked forward to will be complete! So just one question. Are you up for the battle? Truth is going to triumph! And while the ultimate fulfillment of this vision is future, the battle is already waging around us, and we've been called into action! How does the armor fit? Occupied Territory
Jesus was sent into a hostile world by God the Father to engage his enemies until they became his friends. We are sent by Jesus into the same hostile world to engage our enemies until they become the friends of Christ that we can name among our brothers and sisters.
