Don't Walk Alone
In the last evening before His crucifixion Jesus placed the mantel of responsibility on His followers to impact the world for the glory of God. There were two defining values at the core of His instruction: that they would LOVE one another, and that they would BE ONE. Armed and Engaged
Every Christ-follower is enlisted in God's "army" and engaged in the battle. It's a spiritual battle, not a physical one. We need to know our Commander's battle plan, and we need to know our enemy (the world, the flesh, and the devil). But if we don't also know and put on the "armour" that God has supplied each of us, we may shrink back in fear of personal harm or we may charge in without the protections and weaponry we need. Ross Wilson explains the battle we're in and the armour we have been issued with, and encourages every Christ-follower to be both armed and engaged.
