Sermons About Bearing-fruit
What Jesus Said About Bearing Fruit
Jesus told more than one story using horticulture. In our passage today we are called to picture a vineyard. Of course this passage too, is where we get our name, “The Vine.” Once you understand Vine Living—once you realize what God is doing and wants to do in your life—you will begin to live the abundant life God wants for you.

Pursuing Greater Productivity
Our highest goal as a church family is encapsulated in our purpose statement – Leading people to a life of commitment and productivity in Christ. Our salvation goes beyond having the assurance of going to heaven, or enjoying the blessings of an abundant life. We must, while waiting to go to heaven, use our one and only life to bring honor and glory to Him who saved us by making a difference in the lives of others. Productivity is our highest priority, without undermining the value of commitment. The reality is: they should always go together. The more committed we are, the more productive we become.

Digging
Faith is seen in what we do. Mark 2 says, "seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralyzed man,.." The four men believed that the paralyzed guy needed to be face-to-face with Jesus. They did something in response to their faith. We are called to bear fruit. It all begins with digging.
