Sermons about Blessings
1st sermon in the series, "Sermon On The Mount".
We need to tell our own story of how we got over.
God has blessed us fully and richly, not because of our efforts or good intentions, but because of what Jesus accomplished on the Cross. It is His blood that washes us to become clean from sin and unrighteousness. Salvation is a gift from God. Through it we receive peace, access and hope. Let us build our lives upon these truths and stand firmly upon the Rock of our salvation, the Lord, Jesus Christ
God is a God of restoration. He has promised that before Jesus returns, He will restore to you all of the things that His holy Prophets have spoken! How is He going to do that? This anointed message will teach you how you can receive a greater level of God’s restoration in your life, and cause you to experience the blessings of God’s promises that belong to you in Christ!
What should you do now that Christmas is over and you're headed into a new year? Look back to Thanksgiving! An ongoing attitude of thanksgiving will transform the new year. In Luke 17, we encounter Jesus on the way to Jerusalem. On His way, He healed ten lepers. However, one of these lepers, a Samaritan, was exemplary in giving thanks. From his example, we learn that thanksgiving is a big deal. For, it acknowledges God as Creator, requires us to live by faith, gives evidence of the Spirit's control over our lives, and is an antidote to many sins, including worry. Has God been good to you? Then it's time to give thanks! Stop and think of how God has been good. Remember God's grace in light of what you deserve. Then, give thanks to the Lord, reguarly and enthusiastically.
We are living in a world which is shouting to us violence, fear, worry, anxiety, and many other negative things. God does not tell us to talk ABOUT these things, He tells us to talk TO these things. This teaching will empower you to become free from the fear that tries to control you, and will also give you practical truths from Scripture you can say TO the things which God has given you authority over. When you start saying what your Heavenly Father says, you will begin to experience the miraculous blessings God has already provided to you out of His great and infinite love for you!
