Sermons about Blessings
When we have a close encounter with Christ, when we choose to just sit with him and commune with him, we realize that his blessings are more abundant and are clearer to see.
Jesus is the Bread of Life, the Living Word of God. The Bible says that all of creation is in Christ. Therefore, everything you could ever want or need can be found in God's Word! What are you doing with the Food of Heaven, everything you could ever want or need, that God has provided? Do you truly understand that "it's all" been provided to you through the Bread of Life? Won't you explore with me? Let's discover, receive and grow in all that God has provided through His Word, bearing the fruit He desires for us. 59 minutes.
This is an 18 minute recording of Elder Tom O'Neill being ordained. It came on the heels of the Message, "The Church is God's Throne."
Only a Church submitted to her Husband is the Throne of God in the earth. Oh, there are many Churches....but the chaos which is so evident in the world is the fault of a Church which is not submitted to her Husband, giving Him no place in the earth to sit, enjoy rest and reign from. If we seek Him, He will help us to create a Throne that He delights to remain upon. 55 minutes.

What does it mean that faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. How do we access the promises in the Bible God has made to the believer? That is the focus of this series, with a special emphasis on healing in this teaching.
When it comes to living on purpose Christians are told to, "Just Do It". There are a lot of reasons why people don't live in God's purposes, but there are no good reasons. People want to live a life of significance and meaning. The only way to do that is through a relationship to God. Only when you connect to God can you connect to your purpose - so Just Do It.
One thing a pastor has to do is look ahead and anticipate what is coming and then equip the congregation to face that future. It doesn’t take a prophet to look ahead and say that in this life we will have afflictions and trials, we will endure suffering in all sorts of various trials. I feel more compelled to prepare us because of the complacency many of us have as comfortable American Christians. We are easily lulled into thinking we deserve an easy life. I revealed this attitude when I asked you for prayers for flying to Ohio and for driving back to Lynden. Asking for prayer is good, but my motive wasn’t completely pure. I wanted everything to go as well as possible, I didn’t want any inconvenience, any problems, any hardships. God put me to the test right away when my midnight flight out of Seattle was delayed an hour and a half and I was told I wouldn’t make my connection out of O’Hare. It was clear to me that I had no control over what was happening. God was most merciful and I actually made the connection with the door closing behind me. Not exactly the crown of life, but a clear sign of God’s undeserved generous grace.
