Jesus: The Lunatic, Deceiver. or Savior?
An exploration of the unbelievable spiritual benefits to Christ's followers
Stop worshiping the creature more than the Creator. In order to get into the presence of God, you have to praise Him. You have to seek Him in order to praise Him. When praises go up, blessings come down. Praise Him for His Grace, Greatness and Goodness.
Ruth 4:13-17 ((KJV) 13 So Boaz took Ruth, and she was his wife: and when he went in unto her, the Lord gave her conception, and she bare a son. 14 And the women said unto Naomi, Blessed be the Lord, which hath not left thee this day without a kinsman, that his name may be famous in Israel. 15 And he shall be unto thee a restorer of thy life, and a nourisher of thine old age: for thy daughter in law, which loveth thee, which is better to thee than seven sons, hath born him. 16 And Naomi took the child, and laid it in her bosom, and became nurse unto it. 17 And the women her neighbours gave it a name, saying, There is a son born to Naomi; and they called his name Obed: he is the father of Jesse, the father of David.
Even in times of trial and temptation, we still have God's promises before us. Not because we are holy and deserving, but because of the grace of a Holy God, thru the blood and sacrifice of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Our victory is in Christ, not in self.
There are many Christians who look at their state of imperfection and think/hope that they are worthy in God's eyes. God is looking to our position toward Him. We are holy and blameless before Him, because of the sacrifice of His Son Jesus Christ on the cross. This is where He paid it all. If we keep our eyes on Him, all our sins are removed.
Many today are downright scared at the thought if God has chosen them. No matter what we have done nor who we are, as long as we are set apart in the name of Jesus Christ, we are saved. All we have to do is accept His grace. God chose us in Him before the creation of the world (Eph. 1:4).
