We are called to love one another with a deep and abiding mutual love, and with complete sincerity. What does that look like? What can we do in order to love more completely? Maybe we cannot do anything? Maybe it is something that must happen supernaturally?
We live in a nation that is divided not only politically, but philosophically and theologically. A new atheism has emerged that is loud, activist, and desperately opposed to faith, especially Christianity. Christians are like wise growing loud and angry toward atheists. What is driving all this anger and fear between the two? It all boils down to a struggle over boundaries. But, only one position can ultimately triumph. Find out why. How do we lovingly separate from our parents and extended family to start and flourish in our new family?
Despite what culture says, we are limited. There are many examples in life of our limitations...so why do we struggle with accepting this truth?
God wants us to know who He is. He wants us to know how He works, and why. God doesn't want to be mysterious even if He is too large to grasp. He also wants us to understand our condition and our addiction to sin. He wants us to know how much it breaks His heart, and just what He did, and continually does to bring us back into relationship with Himself...our true bridegroom. We MUST get this Love Story right...for Him, and for ourselves.
We all have "property" that we own; our lives. The hard part is figuring out what we should own and which part we don't own.
