The aim is to teach believers how to gently restore a sinful Christian brother or sister. In the Christian life, there is a careful balance between hating the sin and loving the sinner. When we deal with fellow believers who have sin in their lives, we must try to do it in such a way that it restores them to right fellowship with God.
