A Healthy Church...is a Community (Pt. 1)
The Gospel creates the new community of the people of God. In the first-century, we see a picture of what that community looks like as formed by this Gospel. Is it just a recollection of the community then, or a model for our community today?

The Church and Love
Ephesians 5 describes the relationship of Jesus with His Church as like that between a husband and his bride. We see the nature of God's love for us in the sacrificial and sanctifying love that Jesus displays for His Church and we are drawn to emulate this in our relationship with the other members of His Church, our brothers and sisters in Christ - no matter how hard that might be for us on a human level.
