King Jehu And The Work That God Gave Him To Do
Jehu was given the task of God to eliminate the house of Ahab. In II Kings we see Jehu completing this task. Along the way Jehu takes the time to encourage Jehonadab in his zeal and desire to serve the LORD. °Jehu challenges Jehonadab regarding the state of his heart asking him, "Is your heart right?" A right heart is the first requirement for doing God's work. Are our hearts right so that we can do God's work for us? °Jehu offered to share the burdens with Jehonadab "Give me thine hand". Together, the two went out and accomplished God's work. We must share each others burdens and share the load among our Christian brothers and sisters to accomplish God's will. Each of us must be willing to give up our personal desires to work together and achieve the tasks God has placed before us. °Jehu had a holy zeal to follow the Lord. Do we have a zeal to follow after the Lord or are we 'lukewarm'. We can not diligently accomplish our tasks from God if we are not fully committed.

Part 2: Living a Life of Gospel Intentionality
Gospel intentionality is a lifestyle that is seeking every opportunity to proclaim the gospel with actions and words, to both believers and unbelievers. It is a life that is not compartmentalized into religious activities and non-religious activities but instead sees everything as an opportunity to proclaim the gospel. This includes hobbies, home, work, school and the church. A gospel intentional person is a repentant person who recognizes his or her own pressing need for the gospel. In the following message, we further explore the book of Mark to see how Jesus both lived and taught a life of gospel intentionality.

Looking To God For Rest
In this morning’s text we find that Jesus offers us an invitation to rest! The world offers long weekends, cookouts, and road trips. And these are all fine BUT they only address the physical aspect of rest. FRIENDS – There is a greater rest that we all need and this rest comes only from knowing God through His Son, Jesus Christ. This morning we look at the Rest of Salvation and the Rest of Satisfaction found in Jesus Christ.

Patience in Suffering
Because people are often self-absorbed, the possibility of being taken advantage of financially is very probable. However, as believers in Jesus Christ, we are to not retaliate in anger when defrauded; but instead, be patient on the Lord...knowing that He sees all and knows all and that everyone will reap what they deserve--maybe in this life, but definately at the judgment seat of Christ. Above all, we ought to be in continual prayer for one another--in the good and bad times-- because prayer is the means of receiving God's transforming and healing power.

Freedom-Faith Relationships - Galatians #13
What makes the Christian faith like no other? The good news of God’s grace is the bold claim that we are accepted by God not because we “follow the rules” or “fit the mold” but because Jesus gave his own life to rescue us. But many of us are still trying to earn God’s love with our performance rather than living in the freedom that Jesus has provided for us. In Galatians, Paul warns against the danger of religious systems that value people on grounds of accomplishment or status or cultural agreement. These things lock away our freedom in the futility of legalism, moral superiority and cultural arrogance. Focusing on either the racial/ethnic/cultural superiority or the moral successes of good works denies the gospel and divides Jesus’ followers. Join us as we explore how God offers us true freedom in Jesus and how the freedom of Christ transforms our hearts, our minds and lives.

Hopeful, Humble Maturity
Christian maturity means love working through hope and humility. If you're really spiritual, your attitude toward every brother and sister will be to restore, bear, and give room for them to test out their conversion.
