The Parable of the Wedding Feast reveals a God who is determined to celebrate his Son. And, a God who extends a gracious invitation to the world to join along in the celebration.
God's Great Kindness
Jim takes us through Luke 15 and the stories Jesus told of how much Jesus loves us and rejoices when we turn to him. His great kindness changes our thinking. He pursues us and strengthens our faith. Because of this grace, we then can rejoice.
Celebrate
Hans begins our New Year by discussing the Chapels goal to be a church that *celebrates* the gospel in both Christ-centered corporate worship and Word-focused personal devotion.
Be Encouraged
God continues to be at work, not only within our individual lives, but within His Church at Willow Park. We have much to celebrate, much to be thankful for, and much to anticipate as we head into 2013. God is faithful and the Gospel remains Good News!
Making all things new again
Every Christmas we feast. We feast on a wild ride of gift shopping and gift giving. We feast on all the glorious foods that make memories and extra work for our new year's resolutions. This year, while enjoying the festival of giving and feast of a family dinner, raise your glass in thanks to the God who makes all things new again on Christmas day.
Time to Celebrate
Pastor Gary Combs concludes the "Time to Thrive" series with this message from 1 Corinthians. The apostle Paul told the Corinthians that Christ’s victory over sin and death meant that they could live life to the full, knowing and celebrating that this victory was already theirs. And that everything they did for Christ would matter for eternity. Celebrating this victory that Christ has won, we can live life to the full, we can do more than just survive, we can thrive.
