Esther and God's Sovereignty Over the Nations
Are things out of control? Does chaos reign? Sometimes it feels that way. Look at the financial markets. Look at the political headlines. But don’t forget to look at the Bible and Esther. Things look one way, but are they really as they seem? The headlines suggest one thing. The Scriptures suggest another. As we have seen, Scripture has a lot to say about the nations. Today in the Word we will consider the book of Esther and its message in light of the prophets of Israel and the storyline of the entire Bible. It is our hope that God will use its message to inform our fears.

The Way of Peace

Following the example of Psalm 46, it is crucial that we regularly put our lives on pause to seek the Lord, remember that He is God, and believe the promises of the Gospel.
