Sermons About Choices
Pt. 6, Repairing Relationships: The Relationship Choice

We are so in debt to our Lord, whom has forgiven us of that debt, that we cannot afford not to forgive others of theirs to us. Fork in the Road
We make decisions every day. Right now you are choosing to read this. You also have the option to listen to this sermon or not. It is a lie to think we did not have a choice, or we do not have the time, or we did not know it was sinful, etc. When you faced a "fork in the road" about submitting to Jesus or not - you had a choice. Choose today who you will serve
In both the Old Testament and the New Testament there came a time to chose what path you will take. In the Old Testament Joshua put that question to the Israelites. In the New Testament, as Jesus teaches his disciples who He is and what that means, the teaching becomes too hard for some and they leave. Jesus asks the twelve if they too will leave as some have done. Throughout our life, God puts the question to us each day. Who will we serve? Who will we follow? We may believe we make these decisions in a vacuum but we don't. We are influenced by our fallen and sinful human flesh, the peer pressure of this world, and the enemy of God. We are in the midst of a great spiritual war and if we are not armored up and immersed in God's Word we will make bad choices with eternal consequences.
