Galatians 1.11-24: Disciple - be one, make one
The gospel is literally a joyful message. Paul encounters this joyful message on the road to Damascus. God called Him and revealed Jesus to His heart. In a moment the mystery of the cross and the empty tomb of Jesus was unveiled to Paul. Paul never recovered from that. He was changed. He was now a disciple. He was commissioned to preach, to make disciples. We are all called and commissioned as Paul was. Sure it looks different on how we have the Son revealed to us, but the story line is the same. We are chosen and called as the Son of God is revealed to our heart. God also calls us to a particular service for the equipping of saints for the work of service to the building up of the body of Christ. We are all called to be a disciple and to make disciples.

Part 5: A Blessing To The Nations
A Blessing To The Nations The gospel preached to Abraham was good news that God would bless the nations through Abraham. God truly would redeem the earth. This good news finds its ultimate fulfillment in Jesus. After rising from the dead, Jesus explained to his disciples the story of Israel, the story of Abraham. His explanation is radical--Israel's story was always the story of Jesus.

You are one who has been chosen by God, born again and being sanctified by the Holy Spirit. What you have is an incredible inheritance—eternal life with Jesus—that is imperishable, undefiled, and will not fade. It is God’s will that you rejoice amidst trials and tribulations as “proof of your faithâ€.
