The Good Life -- marked by being poor in spirit
This is part 2 in the series The Good Life -- Do You Have It? The first mark of a person living the good life, is to be poor in spirit. We will consider in this message what God values in your life and consequently what we should value in our life as well.

Holistic Christian Living
Are there sections in our lives? Is there a time for church and a time for work? Do we “work God in to our schedule?” Do we give him a percentage of our time in the busy pie-chart that is our lives? Today I would like for all of us to see that the point isn’t trying to give God a majority of our time or more time than any other one thing in the pie chart. Rather we must be always only about living in communion with the Trinity and displaying the very life of Christ to those around us.

Are You Content and Fulfilled in Life?
The good life -- Do you have it? This series is meant to challenge the definition of what a great life is to be characterized. We will be comparing modern day definitions and thinking as compared with with Jesus' words in the Beatitudes.

Our Identity in Christ
When we become a Christian God gives us a new identity which we will retain until we reach heaven. Understanding this helps us to accept ourselves, deal with temptation and cope with difficult circumstances.

The Community of Grace (Romans 14:1-10)
We are to welcome and accept one another warmly, in spite of our differences, for the same reason that God has welcomed and accepted us -- we are recipients of grace, declared righteous in Christ. We will often differ with one another over secondary matters, but the gospel provides and builds a unity that allows us to disagree in humility and love.

Responding When Life Doesn't Make Sense (Habakkuk)
Israel is suffering and Habakkuk brings a complaint to God. God reveals to Habakkuk that he is planning to bring further discipline on Israel, and Habakkuk complains again to God. God shows Habakkuk that he is doing things greater than Habakkuk can see or understand. In response to this reminder of God's greatness and glory, Habakkuk humbles himself in prayer to God, by waiting on God, and rejoicing in God through faith in God's goodness and promises.

Our Poverty, His Promise
Believing God is hard, but Christians are called to do exactly this: to live a life of deep, persevering faith in His incredible promises. This is our only hope of abiding happiness and blessing, because God only blesses the work He does (though He often allows/uses us and others in this). We experience God's blessing when we believe His promises and act according to the work He has done, is doing, and will do.

Jesus-Centered Mission
All Christians are called to be missionaries, because they’re in a relationship with God, Who is a Missionary. The perfect example of this is found in Jesus Christ, who left His heavenly home to go on mission to save the world from sin. In this sermon we look at 7 characteristics of Jesus-Centered mission the Apostle Paul lays out for us in Galatians 4:8-20.
