Christmas Eve 2012
Perhaps more than any other time of the year, at Christmas something deep within us longs for home. More than simply a place on a map, our true home is where we live the life we were created to enjoy. It is where relationships are healthy and fulfilling, grace is joyfully extended and life is deeply meaningful. In this broken world we find ourselves lost and desperately in need of a light to guide us home. Just as it did more than 2000 years ago, the reality of Jesus’ birth continues to split the darkness of our isolation with an invitation to set out on a new adventure and find in Him our home by another way.

In fact, one could argue that what happened there on Christmas night was really a fulfillment of the lessons of Bethlehem going back ages and generations.
