Christmas 2012 - Its ALL about Jesus
Dave preaches from Luke 2 about how Christmas changes everything.
Perhaps more than any other time of the year, at Christmas something deep within us longs for home. More than simply a place on a map, our true home is where we live the life we were created to enjoy. It is where relationships are healthy and fulfilling, grace is joyfully extended and life is deeply meaningful. In this broken world we find ourselves lost and desperately in need of a light to guide us home. Just as it did more than 2000 years ago, the reality of Jesus’ birth continues to split the darkness of our isolation with an invitation to set out on a new adventure and find in Him our home by another way.
The Christmas Story is often something we say we believe but seems to good to be true. We find ourselves desiring and chasing the stories we see in fairy tales because they seem a lot more believable and easier to attain. In this sermon based on Matthew 1, we see that the Christmas Story of God becoming flesh is not just true, but offers the only true hope we can cling to.
How do you turn the most STRESSFUL and most MATERIAL time of the year into the most WONDER-FILLED? In this message, Pastor Hugh lays out some specific steps that you can take to make your Christmas, and your life, WONDER-FILLED. Watch and be challenged.

Bethlehem. Most of us only know about this village as the place of baby Jesus’ birth. Yet, Bethlehem existed as a village long before the birth of Jesus. What happened in this village prior to that event? It might surprise some to learn that this small village was very important in the history of Israel in Old Testament times. In fact, one could argue that what happened there on Christmas night was really a fulfillment of the lessons of Bethlehem going back ages and generations.
