Giving and Grace
The Law no longer condemns us and it no longer curses us. Instead the law has become the way we learn what it looks like to be fully human. It is now nothing to fear, but something we learn of so that we might follow Jesus in response to His grace. The Spirit now shows you how Jesus lived up to the law instead of condemning you and convicting you in all the ways you’ve failed to live up. When you fail, you’re failing to live like who you truly are in Jesus. You’re already seen by the Father as keeping the law, there’s no need to use it to get His favor.

Participation and Progress
God has always intended that His people would so love Him, so trust Him, and so respond to His grace that they would show Him off to each other and this world. They’re to be a display people, a people that tell the world what He’s like by living in such a way that provokes questions and curiosity about the God they love and are loved by. This is what the book of Nehemiah is about. This is the real mission of Nehemiah. This is the real work of God. He wants to revive and restore what has been destroyed by doubt, fear, hopelessness, apathy, and injustice so that the world would know He’s a God who rebuilds what Adam and Eve and you and I have torn down.

A City Transformed - Part 5
Professional bricklayers did not rebuild the wall of Jerusalem. The priests built part of it, and prayed over it. The goldsmith and perfumer built part of it. A man and his daughters worked side by side to rebuild part of it. All people of all skills worked together. The same goes for reaching our city for Christ: all people of all skills working together. Pastor Robert paints a clear picture of how this worked in Nehemiah's day, and how it can work today at Colorado Community Church.
