Sermons about Confidence In God
If our Thanksgiving is done only in private, how can we reach those who are lost. Thanksgiving comes when we recognize our dependency on our Savior, Jesus Christ. Did you come here this morning to hide the hope we have undeservedly or did you come here to give praise to Him for all He did and is doing and will do for you? Are you silent or does your soul rejoice? Are you like King David? Are you thankful BEFORE God answers your prayers?
Are you surveying your community or your place of work to see and hear from God what He wants you to do? It is easy to tell God that the task is too big for you or for us as a church. It is much harder to step out in faith and trust God. Have Him take us out of our comfort zone and trust Him.

Sometimes the songs are downbeat, even morose - they sing laments. Other times the singers are elated and play their instruments with great joy. Their words express their mood. In Psalm 27 Great King David is expressing his feelings of being afraid. Yet he writes to tell us where to look for our strength. He is answering the question, whom shall I fear?
