Our Worth in God's Eyes
Why do we run away form the God of love? Our youth places blinders on our eyes, our pride serves as a motivator and our desire for independence can set us on the run. The results of running away: distance in the relationship, we end up running on empty, confusion and death. To have a coming home party we must have a repentent heart then God will receive us with open arms.

When You Don't Know What To Do
Sometimes in life you just don't know what to do. There is something inside all of us that knows that we aren't going to get a crystal ball that warns us of every possible misstep in life. And we can't "map quest” our lives so that we print out driving directions to happy town. But what can we do when we don't know what to do? Psalm 1 is a great place to begin to get an answer to that question.

Conflict And Community: Wondering About the Resurrection
Was Jesus really raised from the dead? The bodily resurrection is the essence of Christianity, and yet Jesus’ friends who first heard about it didn’t believe it! As Luke presents them in their confusion, space is created for us who either doubt or don’t understand the implications of the resurrection for our lives. HOW DO I BECOME A CHRIST FOLLOWER Scripture: John 9:1-41 Five historical ways the church has created confusion for those seeking to become Christ followers: 1. By acceptance of theological assumptions as truth when their bases is faulty. (verse 2) 2. By interpreting truth from the bases of tradition. (verse 14) 3. By requiring adherence to church law at the expense of truth. (verse 22) 4. By establishing the authority of truth by citing history. (verses 28,29) 5. By attempting to preserve reputation at the expense of the authentic. (verse 41) How do I become a Christ follower? 1. By admitting that we all were spiritually blind. (verse 1) 2. By doing what Jesus asks us to do. (verse 7) 3. By being bold and honest about our encounter with Jesus. (verses 9-12) 4. By growing in our understanding of who Jesus is. (verses 17, 33, 38) 5. By believing and trusting HIM (verses 36-38)

No Problem Too Great!
Our confusion is not a problem too great for God to handle. When God changes things the results are unimaginable. Why would God want to change us? God wants to see a correct balance in the relationship, wants us to be People Catchers, and wants us to live in total dependence of him. God wants us to live with an incredible anticipation.
