Sermons About Consequences
The Prodigal God, Part 3, He Came to His Senses
This is a story about the meltdown of a family. The key to restoring the family is repentance. There is worldly repentance that is the result of pain and not a Godly repentance that is the result of hating the act. The nature of repentance is pain (consequences) and asking forgiveness from God and others sinned against, thereby earning grace, amazing grace.

Destinations: Part 4
We all have places we want to end up in life. Yet the paths we choose often lead us away from our intended destinations. One poor decision can send us down the wrong road, crushing our dreams, and wasting years of our lives. As time passes, we look back wondering how we got off course, and how we can recover from broken dreams. Join us for this four-part series where Buck examines the disconnect between our dreams and the paths we take to reach them—that our direction, not our intentions, determines our destinations.

Hardening of the Hearteries
Hardening of the Hearteries Within every Christian lies two distinct natures, two distinct voices—the flesh and the Spirit. Each time we choose to tune out or reject the voice of the Spirit, scar tissue form on the heart making it even harder to hear next time. The end result is darkness and spiritual blindness. Don't go there. Key Verses: Heb 3:7-13

We need to know the devastating toll sexual sin will take on us. Do you want to pay this kind of price? (1 Corinthians 3:16, 17; 6: 16-18) 2. We need to know how serious God takes it when we don’t control our own sexual urges and take advantage of another sister or brother. Are you aware of these consequences? (I Thessalonians 4: 3-7)) 3. We need to nurture the wholesome yearning in life for intimacy (John 15) Most sexual sin is a counterfeit for someone’s search for intimacy 4. We need to act on the power of covenanting with God (Job 31:1) 5. We can enjoy this wonderful, life-giving relationship of knowing our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in us. (1 Corinthians 6:19, 20)
