It's no secret that marriages are in trouble in the US. Inside the church and outside the church marriage continues to take hits and the wreckage of husbands, wives and children are all around. Is it possible that we have a poor understanding of marriage? If so, it would seem that the church does too. In this message we look at what God, the author and creator of life, tells us about marriage. We examine how marriage is grounded in the Trinitarian Godhead and in Christ and His church. And we discuss moving marriage from commodity to covenant. Lastly we hit up what the scripture is talking about when we hear the word 'submission'. Is it a bad deal? Or could it actually be perfectly designed by God for our joy and sanctification?

The kickoff to our "Mind Blowing Sex" Series. For some, sex is god. They think about it, worship it, sacrifice for it and basically do whatever it takes, and accept whatever consequences necessary to have it. Still for others, sex is gross. It is dirty, evil, bad and shouldn't be talked about in public...let alone church. We disagree with both views. Sex is neither of those things. It is a gift. It is, in fact, a wonderful gift from a loving Creator who created us in love as human, and sexual, beings. Understanding this point is the beginning place of enjoying the blessings and benefits of true, godly sexuality. Whether single or married, this series is for you!
