We are responsible for our own feelings, attitudes, behaviors, beliefs, choices, values, talents, gifts, thoughts, desires, and relationship with the Lord. These are things we have control over. In any relationship, especially a dating one, we can't let another individual control these things for us.
No, pastor Jeff isn’t married. But talking about marriage doesn’t necessarily require being married. It requires wisdom and knowing what the Lord says about it. The two people in the Bible who talked about marriage the most were Jesus and Paul. Both were never married. Even as Jr. Highers there are decisions we can make in our lives now that will shape our marriages. Who you are when you get married is who you will be in your marriage.
