Holidays
This week we celebrate Thanksgiving as a holiday. A holiday is where we take one day of the year to pause and pay special attention. On a holiday we shift the schedule in order to celebrate some event or person that deserves our special attention. If it happens all the time it isn’t really a special day. In other words, a holiday is a holy day.
The Pre-Season is Over
Pastor Tommy Murray references the NFL pre-season to emphasize that is now time to move forward, renew our faith in God and an opportunity to become a better person, giving more to and for others, treating people better, etc. He encouraged us to be imitators of God and live a live of love (Ephesians 5:1-2). Key Points: 1) Admit that you have sinned; 2) Believe that Jesus Christ is Lord; and 3) Confess Sins. It's a new season; it's a new Day --Move Forward in your walk with Christ!
