Sermons About Deception
Dealing with Misplaced Trusts
Let's face it, sometimes we would rather do things our way than enter into the process of realigning our desires to match God’s desires. In this sermon, we will look at the lives of four people who prefer to trust their senses, their appetites, their instincts, and their advisors to trusting God. Let's take a peek into their lives so that we may learn about our own.

The parable of the foolish man that built his house on the sand is mans doctrine. He is the one that goes in the broad way that leads to destruction. This the the many called. This is Satan's church. The Art of Deception: Becoming Free From the Lies We Believe
Jesus taught us that there is a spiritual world, and in that world our enemy the Devil has only one goal, and only one means of achieving that goal: He wants to bring death...and he does it by telling lies. Revelation 12:9 calls the Devil, the deceiver of the whole world. This series is about separating the truth of God (which the Bible says will set us free) from the lies of the Devil (which will enslave us).

Cross My Heart & Hope to Die...
Jesus now tackles how the Scribes and Pharisees had corrupted the Law's teaching on oaths and vows. Like sinful people, they obscured the truth through word games to hide their deceit. Jesus died because of our lies, and works to make us a community of honest people.
