God created the world to flourish in our hands, to be blessed by our dominion under His dominion. The Holy Spirit of God has blessed us with three kinds of gifted men and women in the church, through which He desires to bless the world. We will look at each in turn.
For many Christians, we get uncomfortable around the idea of evangelism. What is it? How do we do it? Who does it? And who do we tell it to? Tied up in those questions are our own fears and expectations about sharing the gospel, and our past history with others evangelism attempts. In this sermon we look at a portion of Jesus's Sermon on the Mount and examine it for guidance in declaring and demonstrating the gospel. In declaring the gospel we look at it's content and our posture in sharing it. In demonstrating the gospel we look at the gospel being a demonstration in us and toward others.
In this final sermon of the Great Life series we look at Jesus' call to teach disciples the command and call of God, as well as to observe the way of Jesus' life. For too long we have settled for just teaching people, it's now time that we focus on teaching them in a way that encourages walking in the teachings of Jesus.
Part 5 "Are you seeing results?" Romans 1:5-7 A true and growing Christianity is seen in its results. Every growing Christian must: 1. Remember the purpose of our deliverance. The purpose for our deliverance involves: * God receiving glory * Humanity receiving grace * God giving gifts 2. Respond with a passion to declare the gospel. This declaration must be: * Shared with all people * Shared properly 3. Recognize the privileges that bring forth our delight. Our delight comes because: * We belong to God * We are beloved by God * We become saints * We are showered with His blessings
