The battle that you are in is not against flesh and blood. For the weapons of your warfare are not carnal, but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. This message will teach you what strongholds really are, and how to pull them down and experience the freedom that belongs to you.
We often forget that the gospel must shape how we live and interact with one another, how we lead our families, pursue our careers, fill our free time, view the political scene, and so on. And then in the midst of all of this we forget that we have an adversary who is committed to frustrating us … an adversary that is looking to devour us. We are too often lulled to sleep - which makes us east targets for the devil. This is why Peter pairs sober mindedness with the command to be watchful. Peter says, "Wake up! Pay Attention! Think soberly about your adversary the devil and keep your eyes open for his wiles.
Your adversary, the devil, wants to continually accuse you and remind you of your faults, what you have done wrong, and what you haven't done right. He is constantly telling you how much of a failure you are, how far you have fallen short of the glory of God, how distant you are from God's original plan for your life, and how many times you have failed and fallen. The good news is that he is a liar, and so everything that he says is not true. Therefore, you can rejoice! This powerful and inspiring teaching will reveal to you how you can tell the difference between the conviction of the Holy Spirit and the condemnation of the devil. This revelation will cause you to win in spiritual warfare so you can enjoy the victory that is yours, and will help you experience the blessings that God has already purchased for you!
In the Bible, becoming a Christian isn't based on a decision or a belief system. It's about regeneration.
We sometimes refer to God as the author of our lives. Did you know that the Devil is also an aspiring "writer"? If we allow his temptations to begin to shape our lives we are allowing him to script our future. God writes our story with the purest love we can hope to know. The Devil, on the other hand, writes out of lust and desire for you. Follow along as Pastor D.M. Gates helps us understand the difference in this important message
Who are you a child of? God or the devil?
God's word tells us that the Devil attacks us with fiery darts. These darts come in many forms but one of the most effective are the lies the enemy whispers to us. Lies that take us away from the truths of God's promises. Pastor J. Lewis dives into the word and shows us exactly where we can find examples of God's truth to combat the lies of the enemy.
We are living in some dark times. Most of the world is oppressed with depression, discouragement, and sadness. The devil wants you to feel depressed, discouraged, and be overcome by life, trouble, and negative circumstances. But God's promises are realized in dark times, and He wants you to experience fullness of joy as you acknowledge and experience His manifest Presence. This inspiring and practical message will teach you how to cultivate and experience the manifest Presence of God, which will navigate you through whatever dark season you may be facing.
