The centrality of the resurrection
Preacher: Stephen Fry. Passage: 1 Corinthians 15 vv1-11. People can look at the same universe and come to different conclusions about whether God exists. Opinions also vary on whether Christ physically rose from the dead and what this means. The Bible declares that God not only created the universe, but that Christ’s physical resurrection is an attestable historical fact, declaring God’s triumph over sin and death. The Bible says we will all be raised, but where will you spend eternity?
The Cross
Jesus was arrested, put on trial, beaten, and put to death. Jesus did all this for you. He could have saved Himself; instead He did this to save you.

An Easter message asking the question “Are You The Real Deal?” Jesus + Nothing = Everything or Everything – Jesus = Nothing
What Changed Everything
Jesus didn't come into the world to give us religion. Religion leads us to pride or despair. Jesus came into the world to allow us to have a relationship with God. Traditions are soothing, but they distract us from what we really need, Jesus. We need to internalize the fact that Jesus died for us; internalize the fact that Jesus rose from the dead; and internalize the fact that Jesus must be accepted. All of Christianity hangs on Christ's resurrection. His resurrection is what changed everything.
