Sermons About Diligence
Heresy of the Heart
In the closing verses of Galatians we are directed to the importance of this book by Paul's large hand writing. We also see that the real reason why these Jews are seeking circumcision is so that they do not have to suffer persecution for being a Christian. The real problem in Galatia is a Heresy of the Heart. So how do you hide your Christianity.

You Reap What You Sow
In Galatians 6 the Apostle began by talking about the brother caught in transgression. But what about the one who doesn't get caught. We learn in this message that God is not mocked and that whatever one sows that is what he will reap. We are encouraged to continue doing good because a time is coming when we who sow to the Spirit will reap eternal life.

Test Yourself
The Apostle Paul encourages the Galatians to test their work so that their boasting will be in themselves. As we enter into the new year and into a time of communion with our lord, it is an excellent time to put ourselves to the test. But the heart his more deceitful than all else. How can we accurately judge ourselves before God and make a plan for improvement.

Anyone can live accidentally, to only work in their life and not on their life. We want to make 2008 a year of living with diligence, intentionality, focus, and purpose.

What Child Is This
Every Christmas we focus on baby Jesus laying in a manger. However, it has become imperative that we understand who that Jesus was in the manger. Some say he was the greatest prophet who ever lived. Others say he was the angel Micheal come to earth. Still others say he was God incarnate. Does this really matter? Are we just quibbling over details? Let's answer that question which the hymn raises What Child is This.

Servanthood
We are called to follow in the example of Christ and live as humble servants in our actions, but even more fundamentally in our attitude and nature. Scripture reveals several essential qualities to a true servant; the servant 1) serves as unto the Lord; 2) serves sacrificially; 3) walks in humility; 4) serves diligently, working hard; and 5) serves faithfully.

Caustic Casual
Luke 13:22-30 In this passage, Jesus shows that the ever-expanding kingdom will spread not by physical heritage, but by spiritual heritage. It will be seen that many of the Jews have never truly been a part of the kingdom of God, and that likewise, many Gentiles will be a part of that kingdom. In this lesson, Jesus explains that the distinguishing mark between those who will be a part of God's kingdom and those who won't, will be in how they have sought after the very narrow door of salvation.

Never Again
How does it make you feel when you fall short of God's standard? Wouldn't it be great if we could eliminate those awful occasions of coming to our Lord and saying: I've failed you again. In 2 Peter the Apostle lists seven qualities that ought to be continually added to your faith. According to Peter if you practice these qualities, you will never fall. In this sermon Pastor Jeremy Lundmark calls on all Christians to raise high a banner that says NEVER AGAIN and begin practicing the qualities found in 2 Peter.
