Just Say Yes
This teaching raises an issue that gets in the way of our experiencing the life God has for us. When we say "yes" to God in Christ, we sometimes think that's it, we're all set. You can grow in your maturity as His disciple by following Him in the habit of daily devotion. The text teaches us some important ingredients to having a habit of daily devotion like Jesus.

Time to Grow Up

Paul challenged them to be unified in the pursuit of growing into maturity in Christ… becoming fully like Christ. We can understand this need for growing up spiritually to be fully formed in Christ.
