The week before our Senior High youth group went on a missions trip to New York for 2 weeks, this message was preached to challenge PVCC to get off of their pews and preach the Gospel. Going across the country to work with people you do not know surely is considered missions, but it in no way is the only way to "do" missions. As a matter of fact, missions (or evangelism) must be something that is done in our relationships, our every day lives. Every Christian is a missionary, and this message is a challenge to us all to take up our call to be a missionary to the world around us.
