Sacred Parenting: Culture
Each family is designed to be a culture with a languauge, customs, traditions and many unspoken assumptions. God has made the world in such a way that children who grow up in the culture of the family are to be shaped and molded by it. So what is shaping your children? Is the culture of the home shaping them or is the outside culture influences taken primacy when it comes to shaping your children? This week we will be encouraged to shape our children according to the standards of God's Word.

The Door is Open!
The church at Philadelphia receives no rebuke - just encouragement to keep on keeping on! Jesus acknowledges that they have "little strength" and that from a worldly perspective they might not think they have much to offer, but He places in front of them open doors that He expects them to walk through! How relevant to us today! Many believers think that they have little to offer the "kingdom" of God. But as the old saying goes: "Little is much, when God is in it." So many doors of opportunity for salvation, for service, for endurance stand open in front of us. The only question is: Will we step in? Key Passage: Revelation 3:7-13
