Doubts and Fears, John 20:24-29
What happens after Easter? The day after this celebration often seems to be anti-climatic. Most of us continue to live our lives as we did before this glorious day. However, several thousand years earlier, there were some people whose lives were dramatically altered. As a result of Jesus' death, they lived in fear and doubt. Many of us today can be possessed by similar doubts and fears - doubts and fears that control us and steal our joy and meaning in life. In this series, we will look at John 20 and 21 and learn from several individuals who possessed a range of emotions after Jesus died on the cross. We must learn that God has not given us a spirit of doubt and fear, but faith and hope!
Dealing with Doubt
Jesus' appearance to Thomas shows us that doubt is OK. God is big enough.
