God Calls His Church
God is in the process of calling out his church from this world by his sovereign choice through the preaching of the gospel with the goal of bringing his church to share in the glory of Christ.

To the Praise of His Glory
In the opening sermon of this series, we looked at the Apostle Paul's spontaneous outburst of praise when contemplating the work of the triune God in creating a people for His own glory. The three persons of the Trinity were at work - the Father electing, the Son redeeming, and the Spirit sealing - all to build a new community, the church, which would exist for the glory of God.

The Evidence of Election
In this message, we will look at how the Apostle Paul could say of the Thessalonian church We know that you are chosen by God. Paul's certainty of their election comes from the manner in which the Gospel was received, and the corresponding results of that Gospel in the lives of the people. As we examine the Evidence of Election ask yourself this questioned Am I chosen by God?

Entrusting the Sacred
We live in a time when we have lost the sense of the sacred. In a culture that is obsessed with novelty we are hard pressed to see the value in the ancient, the eternal and sacred trust of the gospel. We need to see that some things should never be treated trivially and are worthy of our greatest hope and stewardship.

Q And A With Dr. Steve Lawson
In an age of water-downed theology and casual Christianity, the church desperately needs to return to the doctrines of grace that shook the world during the Reformation. These grand truths-historically referred to as the five points of Calvinism (TULIP)-form a biblical outline of God's sovereign plan for saving sinners. Sadly, these foundational principles the Bible so clearly teaches about salvation are often misunderstood and misrepresented and as a result are often discredited and dismissed as divisive doctrines, or worse, unbiblical ones. Consequently, many Christians never experience the God-glorifying, Christ-exalting, pride-crushing, gratitude-inducing, worship-inspiring, missions-motivating, evangelism-encouraging, discipleship-promoting, soul-comforting, faith-strengthening, and life-changing effects that occur when one fully embraces the sovereign grace of God.

Follow The Leader
Leaders. We are obsessed with the question of leadership as we head into an election year. And yet, truth be told, the world of human leadership is poised to let us down. In four to eight years, we will feel about our new leaders the way we feel about our old leaders. In the midst of all the disappointment, Jesus calls us to “follow him.” Today in the Word, we will be thinking about his call in the context of our lives. It is a call that rings true in the church and the world.

Session 2: Unconditional Election
God chose the elect solely on the basis of His free grace, not anything in them. He has a special love for the elect. God left the rest to be damned for their sins.

God's Pleasure in Salvation (PM)
Adam preaches from 1 Tim. 2:3-7. The reasons we should pray evangelistically are found in the character of God. Salvation is God's gracious plan that He orchestrates for His good pleasure.

Election - Is it favouritism?
What do you reckon is the worst thing in the workplace? EmployeeSurveys.com says: "There are few things that employees resent more than favouritism. It breeds the feeling that it doesn't matter how one performs on the job; it is who you know, rather than what you do, that determines who receives perks and promotions." This is very relevant to our question today: Election - Is it Favouritism?

The Perseverance of the Saints
Is once saved always saved a legitimate Biblical doctrine? Does God leave salvation up the free will of man and then keep him against his will eternally? The doctrine of the perseverance of the saints is an extremely important doctrine to nail down.

Unconditional Election
Unconditional Election is one of the least appreciated doctrines in the Bible. Election can not be questioned. But the basis of God's election is hotly debated. This sermon is a defense of unconditional election- the way the Bible teaches that election happens.

Chosen by God
All humanity is under that wrath of God, yet in grace God has pursued us through Christ. This salvation comes through the Jews, as Christ was Jewish. This raises many questions about the state of Israel, and God's plan for her. Did God's plan fail?

There is no "Plan B" - Romans 8:28-30
“Predestination.” The word by itself is enough to evoke strongly negative and positive reactions from an equal number of people. But what is predestination? What does the Bible have to say about it, and what does it mean for the Christian and the Church? Can the idea of predestination actually be of comfort? This week, we take a look at Romans 8:28-30, where Paul delivers the comforting news to the Roman church that they are among God’s chosen people, forever secure in Christ.

John 6:1-71 - Hard Teachings and the Miracle of Faith
Jesus confronted the people who were following Him for selfish reasons about the need for faith. He didn't shirk from teaching hard truths because He had faith in God's power to draw people to faith in Him, and we are to share the truth of His Word with boldness in His example.
