SHAMEless
The Scriptures are going to urge us to live out our faith in an Unashamed way. Another way to say that is that Christ would want us to learn and live in a Shame-less way. Shame is a powerful force. Shame goes beyond being embarrassed. You may have been embarrassed by someone's actions or words but have you ever been ashamed of what you said or did or may be what we didn’t do and we know we should have. Shame can control a person and keep them from doing what they should. Shame has always been associated with Sin. In the book of Genesis, the direct result for Adam and Eve in their disobedience is that immediately felt shame. The good news is that God can show us how to live a shameless life.

You've Lost That Loving Feeling
Is a love that is assumed true love? Love that that is not actively expressed is in grave danger of dying. This was the situation in Ephesus and it is often the case in our own lives. this sermon looks at how we loose that lovin' feeling, how we can get it back, and why it is so important.

Light the Fire Again!
Revelation is a letter, a prophecy, and an apocalypse. In the first case, it is a letter addressed to seven churches in Asia Minor. The churches are commended for their positive traits, and challenged to make changes where they are falling short. Together, we might entitle this section, "Faithful Under Fire" as we see these early churches standing in a culture of persecution and all the temptations to spiritual compromise that went with it. The first church on the postal route, is the seaport city of Ephesus. We know more about this congregation than perhaps any other in the New Testament. The challenge they faced is one that is very real for us today as well. To prime the pump; give some thought to how you might rate your "spiritual passion." If you had to choose a number from 1 to 10 (1 being cold and 10 being white-hot) where would you place your passion level? Was there a day when it burned brighter? Key Passage: Rev 2:1-7

To The Praise Of His Glory
In Ephesians, it is not us who choose Him, but He who chooses and accepts us. We are the ones who are called to live by the power and work in the power that is in us through Him. Ephesians reveals the majesty of Jesus as it relates to His oneness with the Body. Every single one of us who belongs to Jesus Christ belongs to Him because of His will and not ours.
