(Romans 8:12 KJV) Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. (Romans 8:13 KJV) For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. (Romans 8:14 KJV) For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. (Romans 8:15 KJV) For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. This week as we enter into our study, we are going to see faith inextricably linked to either proclamation of or shame for the work of Jesus Christ. With that in mind, we are going to ask this Big Picture Question. How are living by faith and not being ashamed forever linked and what is the application of both in our lives?

There are a lot of churches in the world. Our goal is not to be just another church. Our goal has to be...to be a church that honors God. The Apostle Paul writes to the young Pastor Timothy to encourage him and to give instructions for the church. If we will follow these instructions we will be the kind of church Jesus wants and our world so desperately needs.
