Sermons About Evangelism
Sacred Life: Titus 2.9-3.8
In Paul's letter written to Titus one sees life. In fact, a sacred and holy life for a different kind of people, the church. This life is made possible because the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men. This is a tremendous truth. We live in a pagan society similar to the culture found in Crete. We are given a mission as Christian’s in such a world. It is not to change the morality of the culture, but to evangelize. This is Paul’s message to Titus as he speaks to the churches throughout Crete. He is to remind the faithful few to hold out the message of grace and allow God to change one person at time, whether at our place of work or even by just paying our taxes. We are to preach and live out the gospel in our pagan society. We are called to evangelize.
