Failure
It’s not so much the failures in and of themselves that shape us... it’s our response to our failures, that actually does the shaping. While failure can help us to grow and mature... they can also make us withdraw and quit... if we’re not willing to respond to them in a healthy way.

Peter's New Year Resolution
The New Year often drives us to make resolutions which we later break. If we keep the resolutions, we feel good about ourselves but perhaps look down on others who failed. If we do not keep our resolutions, we tend to beat ourselves up. The Gospel breaks this cycle but causing us to focus on Jesus’ performance and what he has done for us rather than what He can do to us. Peter’s failure and Jesus’ redemption illustrate the Gospel.

Unstoppable Pt. 14 - Fight For Your Future
At the end of the story of Nehemiah, we aren't left with a tidy, feel-good ending. Instead, we are left with a raw ending that mirrors our journey of faith and failure. But we are not meant to simply settle for failure. God confronts us with defining moments where we must choose to fight for our own future!
