Sermons About Faithfulness
Trusting God
What is faith? It is more that believing in God, it is taking Him at His Word, believing Him. WE need not only to believe in God, but to trust Him, knowing that He is faithful and will do what He has promised.

God Is Faithful
A great test of our walk with the Lord is when we are given the opportunity to take a vacation. We all know that you can take a vacation to 'get away from it all', but you can never take a vacation from trials and temptation. 1 Corinthians 10:13 teaches us that God is faithful and that His faithfulness is the key to us having hope in the face of trials. God has given us three promises that are based on His faithfulness, and in which we can place our hope: 1) No temptation or trial is remarkable; 2) No temptation or trial is unbearable; and 3) No temptation or trial is inescapable. God in His grace and mercy gives us a way out of every trial and temptation through endurance and hope in His promises. Because God is faithful, He can be trusted.

The Race of Faith
Life is like a race, a marathon. We are easily overcome with hardship if we don't have our attention on the right person- Jesus. We are able to finish the race because He finished the race and sits on the throne of grace to help us.

Sometimes the Real Life Seems Unreasonable
The early church suffered many terrible persecutions that we today are far removed from. But there are still areas of the world where Christians have their faith tested in very serious ways. In living the real life, we must ask how faithful are we? Faithfulness is seen in our relationships with other believers, society and God. If we're living the real life, the church can become an unstoppable force because Jesus has opened the way for our faithfulness.

What is the Church? (1 Peter 2:9)
If you were a kid growing up in church, you inevitably learned the rhyme, "this is the church, this is the steeple, open the door, see all the people!" Well, that's wrong. The church isn't a building, it's people. In this first message at Park's Crosby Campus, Jackson Crum shares the truth that the Church is people who have been called out of darkness and into God's glorious light.

Remember to Live
The people of Israel were about to move out of the desert and into a land that lacked nothing, according to the Moses. The only thing that could spoil it all for them was if they forgot the Lord in the process. Things are the same today as they were then. No matter what we possess or what our surroundings look like, life is pretty empty without the presence of God in the midst of it all. It's easy to forget the Lord when our hearts and minds are captured by our wealth. Listen as we look at one way we can help ensure that we remember the Lord and in so doing, remember to truly live.
