The Untold Story
The Christmas story is much richer when you see it from another Biblical perspective—from the events that happened prior to Jesus’ birth including His geneology. Matthew deliberately includes four women—Tamar, Rahab, Ruth, and Bathsheba—all with tainted pasts in Jesus’ family tree. This inclusion in the public record testifies to the fact that God’s connection with the human race runs deep, and is intentional and irreversible. His imperfect family tree shows that He accepts you and your imperfect life as well. His presence in your life is real and for eternity.
