The Performance Trap - Parent Trap #3
Parents are the most influential people in a child’s life. Good parents always want what is best for their children. They want good things for their kids: to be happy, productive and moral. But good things out of place can become dangerous. Well meaning parents regularly step into traps that poison a child’s faith in the name of something good. Don’t fall into the "Parent Trap." By looking at major Bible themes, Lead Pastor Jeff Lawrence helps parents avoid the traps that damage a child’s faith. It Began With a Dream: Macedonia
The jailer….rushed in and fell trembling before Paul and Silas. He…asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus , and you will be saved—you and your household.” Acts 16.30-31 Today we are having a combined worship service with mixed styles, lots of people and the desire to use every possible seat in our sanctuary. It will be pretty informal and celebratory. Our pastor will continue our walk through the Book of Acts. Our service of worship will end with some immersion baptisms with testimonies.
