Sermons About Fear
What To Do With Our Fears
Fear, anger, doubt, tears, guilt and depression are all emotions that we’ve experienced and will experience. Some, even today, may feel completely overwhelmed by one or several of these emotions. The challenge for us as God’s people is not IF you’ll struggle with these, it’s HOW you’ll struggle that makes all the difference.

The Journey
Do you ever wonder why certain parts of the Bible become so popular? What is it about Psalm 23 that connects with us? Reading Psalm 23 is like someone has taken the mixed up graffiti letters in our soul and placed the letters together in a beautiful way expressing confidence and trust in God that we all so desperately need in a confusing world. Psalm 23 fills us with hope to travel on because we are on a journey; an outer and inner journey, a journey of fullness and emptiness, of quiet and chaos, right turns and wrong turns, death and life, fear and security, friends and enemies, fasting and feasting. This journey seems very hard to make sense of, like color thrown randomly at a blank sheet of paper. The truth that we travel this journey with God does not make it easy or simple but it does bring color, beauty and meaning. Psalm 23 reminds us all that the Lord is guiding us and cares for us. This is a truth every person on the planet longs to rest in.

A Leap of Faith in Our Lives
God is calling us to take a leap of faith in our lives. This morning we are beginning an eight week series which will cover all the aspects of taking a leap of faith in our lives. Peter walked on water, because he trusted Christ. What a leap he took to get out of the boat in the first place. Peter had his eyes locked on jesus and then he got distracted. His eyes began to focus on the storm instead of on Christ. God is calling us to move past our fears into god's will. Once we take this leap, we will experience things that we can not even imagine. It is time to take a leap of faith.

Fighting Insecurity
In this message on insecurity and its debilitating consequences, we examine Paul’s exhortation to a young, timid and fearful Timothy. From this passage in 2 Timothy 1:1-14 we learn that the cure for timidity and insecurity is not confidence in self or our works, but rather in God’s purpose and grace in Christ.
