Overcoming Fear of the Future
When you think about fear of the future, it all boils down to one common word: worry. Worry is something we all struggle with. Its kind of like dieting and food. We talk about wanting less of it, but don’t seem to know how to get rid of it.

Anger
Anger is temporary insanity. It jolts our body to do something extraordinary, something we would not normally do. When we act in anger, you can rest assured that the result will be destructive and crazy. But, there is a way out. James 1:19-20; Eph 4:26, 31, Col 3:8, many many others

Overcoming the Fear of Man
I would say that the number one fear people face, if you could boil them all down, is a fear of man. This is probably my number one fear. I am, by nature, a people-pleaser. I’m a guy who likes people to like me. This can be a good trait at times, especially as a young and unproven pastor in a church. But it can also be a crippling thing for a leader, for a husband, for a father. Because we often crave the approval and support of others more than we crave God’s favor.
