Sermons About Feast-of-tabernacles
Let's Get Wet!
Jesus had just offered to satisfy our spiritual thirst and He promised to provide streams of living water to flow from us. He was telling us that faith in Him was the way to find spiritual refreshment and satisfaction when we release the Holy Spirit inside us. When we surrender control of our lives to Christ in faith, the Holy Spirit is able to work in us and through us to produce amazing results, like a stream of living water flowing from inside us. Let's listen to Jesus' offer and promise and find out what those things mean for us. What is Jesus' message here?

How Do You See It Now? (pt 1) - Haggai 2
The 2nd oracle of Haggai leads us to consider what it means to be a "balanced believer." To be sure, the Christian life is dependent upon things that have happened in the past. But we are also called to look forward to the "hope of glory." Which aspect of the Christian life captures your attention most? The past or the future? Haggai states that dwelling in the past, even if it was glorious, does not compare to a "future glory" yet to be revealed. The Lord's Table is a great place to maintain our balance: proclaiming the death of Christ (past event) until he returns (future event).
