Sermons About Fellowship
Let Brotherly Love Continue
You cannot rightly call yourself a Christian and not be actively sacrificing yourself for other believers. My purpose for preaching is to call each of you to radical selfless love for not only the believers in this room but for believers everywhere.

Go
We admit it. We have an agenda: we want you to join the church. All believers in Jesus in every time and place are members of the universal church, but committing to a local church is a vital part of the spiritual life for every Christ-follower. In our teaching series, CHURCH 101, we are taking several weeks to describe the foundational commitments of church membership. Our members are those who have accepted the mission of helping others become passionate followers of Jesus through the ministry and community of this church. Over the next few weeks, we will discuss what that means as we explore practically how we can live for Jesus as a part of His church.

Back to the Basics: Holiness
John the Apostle argues that when we deny Jesus as God, we enable sin to fill our lives which leads primarily to broken fellowship with others. We look at holiness and how it's measured by our fellowship with God's people.

Fellowship is not a Piece of Cake!
Philippians 1:3-11 What is fellowship? Is it simply the gathering of God's people? Or is there a purpose that gives it definition? Let's explore these questions as we look at Paul's letter to the Philippians.

The Story of Us: Our Mission is to Represent King Jesus Together
The mission of God in sending the Son is the display of His glory. Our mission is the display of His glory right here where we live in a manner that truly communicates to our friends, our neighbors, our family. King Jesus does not send out individuals, he sends a church. He asks the Father to keep that church together for the misison and to empower that church with the Spirit and the Word.

When God is at Work
Philippians is an emotionally intense epistle. This intensity is probably the single feature most responsible for the Bible coming alive for me as I studied it as a young man. I could see that the Apostle Paul was a real man with real commitments and real challenges.
